Low cost airlines EasyJet and Jet2 are starting new flights to Paphos for this summer season. Starting April 14th, EasyJet will begin flights to Paphos from Bristol 4 times a week and to Paphos from Edinburgh 2 times a week. EasyJet already has several flights from Paphos, but they fly to Manchester, Stansted and Gatwick.
New flights of Jet2 will be introduced beginning of May with weekly journeys to Paphos from East Midlands and Newcastle.

Motroshow will last until the 24th of January and it is the largest motorshow every organised in Cyprus. The Green Dot waste recycling programme finally reached Paphos on the 1st June 2009. The programme includes recycling of household waste such as paper, glass, plastic and metal packages. It was first introduced at the beginning of 2007 around Nicosia and was further expanded to Limassol municipalities at the end of 2008.
Two sorting plants have been created to serve the recycling program. Over half a million Euro will be contributed to the program by the government every year so as to extend to the surrounding areas of Paphos and Famagusta districts.
