Paphos International airport profile

Paphos airport is located in Cyprus, 16 km away from Paphos. It is used by approximately 1.5 million people each year, mainly travelling to Paphos or Limassol. After Larnaca Airport it is the second largest airport in Cyprus.

Airport facilities

A tourist help desk; Bank of Cyprus branch; ATMs; foreign currency exchange; P.O. Boxes; public telephones. At your service there is a large duty-free store, souvenir shop, news stand, cafeteria and a bar. First aid room and baby care room are also available.

Various disabled-friendly facilities are available. For passengers with special needs it is advisable to contact their airline before travelling.

Paphos International Airport also offers 150 short-term parking spaces as well as long-term parking with 24-hour security and free shuttle to the airport.

Following car hire companies have their office in the terminal: Hertz, Avis, Budget, Europcar, National and Thrifty.

Cyprus Airports upgrade

Hermes Airports Limited took over the construction, development and operation of Larnaca and Paphos airports in May 2006. Opening of the new Paphos terminal is scheduled 11th of November 2008.

A new 4-lane road is being planned to link the airport and Paphos as to avoid using the heavily congested B6 and E603 roads.
